Oak-Bark is dedicated to producing only the highest quality
specialty and fine chemicals.
Oak-Bark Corporation’s predecessor in the chemical business was founded
in 1883. The company known today as Oak-Bark Corporation was formed in 2004 as
the result of a management buyout of Wright Corporation. Our corporate offices
are located in Wilmington, North Carolina, and production facilities are in nearby
Acme, which is ISO 9001:2000 certified.
We are a responsive company, driven by customer satisfaction. Strong financially,
we can expand our facilities to meet our customers' requirements on our 740 acre tract that includes rail service and nearby port facilities.
Our core businesses include:
Fine Chemicals Division - Performs customer driven custom
and toll manufacturing including pharmaceutical intermediates.
One particular area of expertise is in organosulfur products.
Pharmaceutical Products Plant – A 7,500 square foot
facility that manufactures pharmaceutical excipients and
food grade products under the appropriate GMP guidelines.
Special and Dry Products – Features custom drying utilizing Littleford Rotary Dryers and
processing capabilities.
